Residency in France for artists from the Mediterranean countries and Germany

MP

The Goethe Institut and the Camargo Foundation invite individual artists and scholars or groups of up to four people from Germany and the Mediterranean region (including Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina) to apply for a residency in the Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France.

Particular consideration will be given to projects and i deas engaging artistic, ecological, historical or academic approaches to questions of city and nature as mentioned in the Background section.

A special focus will be on questions of methods for the exploration of space and time and possibilities of reading it. The idea is to contribute to multiple perspectives on the question. Interdisciplinary approaches by more than one candidate and participative formats that enable intercultural encounters and engage the public and young people in a sustainable dialogue will be prioritized.

The deadline for application is 27 June 2015. The residency will be 3 to 6 weeks in duration depending on the availability of the selected team and the Camargo Foundation. It would preferably take place from November 2015 through January 2016.
